Our primer contains Methacrylic Acid, an acid used in professional nail products to improve adhesion between the natural nail and the product applied over it. The acid prepares the nail surface, providing better grip and reducing the risk of lifting, which increases the durability of the treatment.
As Methacrylic Acid is an active acid, the primer may have a strong or pungent odor. This is completely normal, and the odor will dissipate as the product dries.
The acid also has a relatively high freezing point, meaning the product can become thicker or freeze at temperatures around 15 °C or lower. This does not affect the quality; simply let the product sit at room temperature for a while, and it will return to normal.
